Puppet Therapy Album

Puppet Therapy

What ya lose? What ya get?
What ya feeling? Are we upset?
There’s something coming but nothing’s real
When I forget

What’s ya scene? Where ya been?
Who’s ya momma? Who’s ya king?
I hope you’re ready to come clean
Hey what’s ya scene?

Emotions…
Deal with emotions like anger and sadness through these helpful exercises
Draw or paint your emotions
In this exercise, you’ll focus entirely on painting what you’re feeling
Create an emotion wheel
Using color, this activity will have you thinking critically about your emotions
Make a meditative painting
Looking for a creative way to relax?
Have trouble sitting down still to meditate?
Meditative painting might be just the thing you’re looking for
No painting skill or experience necessary
No experience necessary
No experience necessary

Explore puppet therapy… Puppets aren’t just for kids
Make your own and have them act out scenes that make you upset

Use line art…
Line is one of the simplest and most basic aspects of art
But it can also contain a lot of emotion
A lot of emotion
Use simple line art to demonstrate, visually, how you are feeling
Simple line art
Use simple line art to demonstrate, visually, how you are feeling
Line art
It can also contain a lot of emotion

Influences for this track

“This was the first track recorded on this album. I didn’t have a guitar or bass at the time so I just went with loops and playing midi instruments.

I had never written like that before but I was listening to a lot of Four Tet, Aphex Twin’s Ambient Works and also electronic song-based bands like Little Dragon and The XX.

I know this is NOTHING like the above influences but those sounds definitely influenced this recording, in a way.”
